Accommodation

As befits such an old building, the bedroom floors may have a quaint slant but all 12 rooms are en suite and well appointed, with colour TV, wireless internet, hair drier and tea and coffee making facilities, with fresh milk of course.

A number have four-poster beds and all have history.

One is called the Trafalgar Suite, named after the visit of Horatio Nelson with Lady Hamilton in 1802.
